Finance services to be done online

People in Vietnam can now submit their income tax declaration and conduct customs procedures on the Internet, the Finance Ministry said in a Friday agreement with the state telecommunication company.

The agreement between the ministry and Vietnam Posts and Telecommunication Group (VNPT) aims to digitize the ministry’s public administrative procedures. During the pilot period until December, the ministry will use the digital signature system of VNPT for tax and customs services and then apply the service to all of its public administration procedures when VNPT is licensed to provide the service.
