Miss World 2007 Zhang Zi Lin arrived in Ho Chi Minh City Tuesday to attend a Miss World 2010 press conference today.

Accompanied by Miss World Organization Event Director Stephen Morley and Miss Asia USA 2006 Jennifer Pham, Zhang will appear at the 4:30 p.m. conference at the Sheraton Saigon Hotel.

Organizers will outline the organizational plan for the beauty contest, which will be held in the central beach town of Nha Trang.

Many activities associated with the Miss World event are expected to be held in other cities and provinces throughout Vietnam.

A new resort, named 1000 sao duoi nuoc (One thousand stars under the water) will be built in Nha Trang for the pageant, organizers said.

Vietnam secured the right to hold the contest after signing an agreement in July between the RAAS Group and the Miss World Organization.

Zhang came to Vietnam in June with Miss World Organization Chairwoman Julia Morley and RAAS CEO Hoang Kieu for some charity events and to study Vietnam’s ability to host the pageant.

She will leave Vietnam tomorrow.
